So now that the show is over... how was it? I've never read the manga nor have I seen the anime. Without spoiling it for me, how much does the ending deviate from the manga?

I haven't seen the last episode yet but the anime deviated from the manga pretty soon. So I assume the anime ending is anime original.

So far, 4 volumes of the manga are out and 23 chapters scanlated. I don't know if the scanlations are up to date or still lagging behind. Anyway, the manga is still ongoing.

At least, we can look foward to a second season :) I read that that was mentioned at the end of episode 12.

Heh.. I must agree.  Though, I haven't watched the ending just yet.

In my opinion, this anime was quite nice.  My favorite part were the cats.  The twins were awesome. :P

I found myself enjoying it a great deal, but I'm not sure why.  It didn't do anything particularly well...

Maybe just the pretty artwork?

I really enjoyed it. It was quite a harem comedy. The twin-tails were great :P

Anyone know what the preview was at the end of the last episode?

Nyan Koi was precisely everything I thought it'd be, nothing more, nothing less. A romantic comedy involving cats, a variety of girls, and some fanservice. Virtually nothing groundbreaking, thought-provoking, or original. And yet, despite the shortage of plot/character development and lack of a conclusive ending, I was never bored or annoyed by Nyan Koi. At least it beats the consistently-predictable interrupted Almost Kisses in Secret of Haruka Nogizaka.

Got any old fansubs on HDD/DVD/CD? Please take a look at this thread.

Needs moar cats. Failing which, moar Chizuru (mailgirl) is also good.

I was hoping from the opening sequence that the people were the owners or became the owners of the cats shown with them.  But more cats, I vote for that.

I was kept in stitches from laughing at the sillyness happenings.

It looks like an anime original ending. Well, most of the episodes of the series are more or less anime original. Not that it is a bad thing in this case :)

I'm curious how a possible second season will be like.

this is over already? yeesh i had thought of checking it out, it went by fast

didn't look particularly special, just a generic comedy with a cat twist, but judging from the replies here it sounds like its a decent enough watch

to those who have seen it, do you know if its censored or not? Its listed as about medium ecchi, so im not sure. If so i can just wait for dvds/bd

blea looks like its only frostii and GG that subbed it. I dont like frostii, but gg is so-so. Anyone watch the GG version?

Watch and you'll know...

There are no giant bats/police tape/teddy bear heads/creepy director heads/etc. used for censorship.  There are; however, a lot of the same tricks used to cover up bare asses and chests, and to block upskirt shots, that are often reworked once a series hits DVD.

Maybe you should just always wait for the DVDs/BDs, assuming anyone does them. Any ecchi show has the capacity to have a more uncensored version on DVDs/BDs, with it sometimes being more obvious than others.
Also, gg quality is always about the same, and I usually avoid gg as much as possible. Enough said...

I'm ALWAYS nice. Well... except when I'm ebil. But I'm only ebil when I'm bored. Although... I'm bored all the time. Not that that's a problem is it? ;)
