Astroboy Movie

Looks like garbage. I've only seen the first few episodes of the anime - which was way darker than I expected - and the movie looks like a typical disney fairy tale, especially that seen with the father hugging Astroboy - as opposed to throwing him out because he wasn't a good enough replacement for his dead son.

All I can is there is little one can expect from an Americanized version of an anime. I expect to see a lot of cheesiness and hardly any storyline from the actual thing.
