Interesting. PS3 drops down to third place. But here's the features the first two offer (lmao):

Oppo BDP-83

LG BD390

And the PS3's specs.

Cons about the PS3:
Lacks backward support for PS2 games; no infrared port means non-Bluetooth universal remotes aren't compatible; online gaming, media, and commerce options still aren't as fully developed as Xbox Live, though they're getting better

Get a PS2 system. PS3 for PS3 games, Blu-ray, etc. Or get a PS3 60GB ... if you can find/afford one.
The remote is true, I got the remote and it's a piece of shit. Solution? Controller is MUCH easier and less complicated. Don't get the remote.
XBox Live is true. But we get our own thing, plus it's free. No need to pay the extra cash.

End of my rant. I am leaving from work in 5 minutes.

morrefule:
I love the BD390 it is an amazing player.  Especailly with the networkable eliments to it and quickest load time i have ever seen.  I have clocked it at 17 seconds of load time.  That's BEASTLY for a Blu-Ray.  And LG advertises under 28 seconds. Which is still better than everybody out there.  The PS3 is definitely my second choice, but with the gaming features on it.  It sorta takes the cake, but that aside.  The LG Wins BIG!

Oppo I have always been on the fence about.  Some of thier stuff is pretty good, the rest of it is overpriced and overhyped.  The one thing i'm interested in is the included HDMI cable.  I wonder what type and Grade of cable is included.  Is it a HDMI 1.2, 1.3a, 1.3b, or 1.4?  And what is the quality of that cable?  HT Junkie so I sorta would like to know.  Just don't feel like doing the research...
