I have PCs with:

- Mushkin
- Corsair
- Kingston
- ( generic )
- OCZ

The PC with OCZ is a piece of shit. 

The Generic, is half-ass ... but for the system it is, it runs pretty good.   Everything else is fine.

I've had a few comps with OCZ and most sucked, the only one that compared at all was the Titanium batch which is the two gigs that's in this system. I wish I would of went with G.Skill though I did get this for the same price as G.SKill was at the time...
Also I never had any luck with getting good Mushkin RAM, well unless you consider one one of two chips working on occasion in dual channel kits.

Alright so just as an update, i went ahead and purchased the OCZ Platinum's an the case along with the enermax fans.

As for the case and fans; These fans are the best fans I've ever owned. 120mm with a red color looks great with blue lights reflecting off the blades. They are dead silent and push as much air as the 2000 rpm fans that sounded like mini-leaf blowers. As for the case itself, OK SO IT LOOKS LIKE AN AC. I'll admit that, but a sff case holding 5x 120mm fans... that's some great airflow. Although it is bigger than a normal sized micro-atx case, it sure looks great.

After reading everyone's bad history with OCZ, I was reluctant to buy them, but eventually did. I did some talking with my neighbor and he was kind enough to let me borrow his set of Dominators for comparison. I'll be honest, those dominators were nice, but in the end, i was able to do some major time loosen'ings on those OCZs from their 7-7-7-20 stock and have them OC'd pretty high.

Overall, maybe I just got lucky with the set that I received, but these platinum's are really fast. >.>

I did, but the overall real-time differences I got wasn't THAT big of a difference, but its a good reason why they cost so much more. Of course I would hardly be able to put all 6gb [future 12] to complete use, so spending more would seem a waste.
I suppose the overall main point is getting what I'm happy with and will serve its use for a while, while saving money for more important pieces; such as more HD space. (:

’grats, I can't wait to start on my Lynnfield build myself :) But I don't want to be too distracted by it just yet, so I'm leaving it until after exams/graduation.
