l wouldn't know, seriously, but l think it might be hard giving birth to twins, one after another, unless it's a cut, but from l know, women in japan rarely solve it with a cut, perfect example : (click to show/hide)Nagisa
l think Kyou is smarter, cuz she stole it all from Ryou :D:D:D:D
but they are really equal in smarts l guess, but this show clearly shows that wtins really are different in personalities.

Think the twins are quite alike in personality just they show it different ways Kyou (click to show/hide) Hides behind a tough image and admits she bully towards people as a front to show her true nature as a fragile person needed to be loved and cared for and protected, even though she could knock seven shades of S**t out of most people.
Ryou (click to show/hide) Puts a lot of people off her because she is very cute, very mild mannered in her approach to relationships with people. Nether the less she not all cutes and smiles, as she admits in the Kyou arc of clannad she knew her sister loved Tomoya yet she still didn't want to loose to her sister because she loved him too, quite a dark and selfish thing to wish for but i can see why as the submissive sister who wouldn't want to beat a sibling who was a to say the least completive even if it is with love. Allways liked Ryou a lot felt quite sorry for her as i can relate as introvert personality myself when i was younger and to certain extent now.
