My point is that Obama may not have started the conflicts, but he has chosen to continue them,

What about it? Are you suggesting if we packed up and left today, leaving the country in chaos, instead of assisting with rebuilding they'd be better off? Still not following your logic. Also not following how this responsibility disqualifies him.

Don't get me wrong. I want us out of Iraq yesterday, I was just talking about it in another thread with viscous, but assuming Obama can just say "Hey, were done here. Let's go home." isn't just naive, it's ignorant.

Edit: Sorry vicious! it's been a long night...

lmao viscous xD

Anyway, I think it will be difficult to engage in peaceful diplomacy without being involved in armed conflicts.

You'd need a war to make peace out of.

Whoops! :D

It's 7:20am here, and I've been up since 9am... Long day, I'll tell ya.

More often, the prize is awarded to encourage those who receive it to see the effort through, sometimes at critical moments."

It's basically a gold star.

I'm confused, I think you may have been thinking of someone else. I've never, ever, ever said we should pack up and leave from EITHER of those locations nor have I placed blame on him for either. I also haven't read replies of other threads since yesterday so I might just be behind.

On the subject matter: This shit makes me sick to my stomach. This is media-overexposure to the highest level, ever. I agree, he's done nothing of warrant yet. Other Presidents have done more than him to deserve an award such as this and never saw it. Obama has been and is continuing to be the media golden child and there seems to be no end in sight. Everything he does is rewarded and everything he doesn't get done is blamed solely on the Republican party, not the reasons they have behind it.

I'm sick of this shit. I'm totally sick of it. So far Obama's been as effective as Jimmy  Fucking Carter for Christ's sake! He's done nothing extraordinary yet the world acts as though he's tits.
