Or bomb you to hell with Dong Feng-31 and RS-24/Topol-M  ::) That typical American attitude is the reason why everyone (who matters) hates USA.

I had the same reaction too at first but I thought kyanwan was just making fun of us.

That's on his profile, LOL

I just noticed that noone mentioned that the deadline for nomination was 12 days after he took office. In 12 days, did he do enough to even be considered a worthy candidate?

Technically, yes. He was elected leader of the only world super power.

And according to their own webside, it's awarded often enough "to encourage them at critical moments".

But hey, don't rage against Obama. It's not like he had a say, or anything to do with this.  :-\

Edit: Oh and I mentioned earlier, He stopped Palin from getting into office. That's worth 3 nobel peace prizes. Seriously.

Which brings us back to this post:

--- Quote from: Onoz on October 13, 2009, 06:44:15 PM ---I watched the indian prime minster on television last night and he explained that he believed obama was given the medal to ratify the direction america was taking. Almost as a way of telling the American people that the world didn't WANT to hate them, that infact it was understood that the direction the country had taken for the past 8 years wasn't entirely the peoples fault individually or collectively.

That just a few bad apples spoiled the bunch.
It was an effort to encourage america to continue its work tward better foreign relations and human rights activism.

I understand he hasn't done MUCH, but he is an intelligent, ambitious man.
It was just as much to encourage him to push forward as to reward.
It was a tool. Not a medal.
