I'd like to hear what everyone's most memorable scenes are,
I.E brief dialogue description, series, episode #

Mine are pretty easy to start.
In the back of the cop car "cigarette kiss" in Black Lagoon, Ep 7 Calm down, Two men
Tordadora Episode 18 Under the fir tree when Ryujii and Aisaka are talking to their teacher,
Trigun Ep 25 The Live Through When Vash is handed Wolfwood's Cross to bear
And Cowboy Bebop Sessions 7+16 Heavy Metal Queen and the Black Dog serenade
During the Heavy metal chase scene and ending, And At the end of Black Dog where Jet realizes that a middle age man living in the past makes just about as much sense as rolling over and dying

Also there's like a million from Nodame Cantabile but all of it just kinda blurs together into this anime extascy. I even loved the Paris Chapter

Edit: I'd Include Nana moments too but they arnt really FAVORITES per say. More like my first striking moments of real dramatic dialogue.

It's not something intentional but this is an episodic based discussion. obviously I doubt everyone's favorite moments are going to be episode 1-2 of whatever.

Unless it's Ergo Proxy, but le egh to any eps after that

Ghost in the Shell: 2nd Gig - Episode 14 "Poker Face" - The Sniper duel between Motoko and Saito
Last Exile - Episode 26 - I just loved the ending
Gurren Lagann - Episode 8 - "When I come back, I'll return it ten times"
Black Lagoon - Episode 7 - Cigarette Kiss

Those I'd say are my most memorable.

GOOd TASTE!

I would have Gurren Lagann myself if there weren't so many indomitable reprimands of the male spirit on this site.

But if it came down to Gurren Lagann moments I'd have to pick Gurren Lagann 21- You Are Someone Who Ought To Survive! When Yoko is a teacher and she resolves her fame for the good of the first children to be born on the surface.

P.S. I hope more people pick Gurren Lagann/ Buccano moments amidst the discussion

Ghost in the Shell: SAC Ep. 21 when Motoko gets pissed off at the armored suit that stomps on her and she shoots the suit, point blank, with a huge gun. I don't think anything will ever replace that scene for me

Fate/Stay Night - Episode 14 - Archer V. Berserker

Azumanga Daiou - Osaka dreaming about Chiyo's ponytails. The Chiyo-vation. "A man of character."

Lucky Star OVA - Kagami waking up from her dream. Ever since the Maria-sama ga Miteru gag, I'd been waiting for Kagami to come out.

Haibane Renmei - Reki: "Rakka, help me." Just hearing Ailes Grises can bring me to tears.

Macross Frontier - Sheryl's impromptu concert in the shelter.

Toradora - episode 2 - dragons and tigers and Taiga geeking out after Ryuuji first calls her by her name.

FMP - Sousuke acting as the rugby team's drill sergeant.

Planetes - Ai, broken and wheelchair bound, dragging Hachimaki out of despondence.

Last Exile - Alex taking his revenge.

Ichigo Marshmallow - Satake wagging his tail while looking at Chika's overgrown cucumber vine, with Nobue in the background wondering what the hell to do with it. In context, it's one of the funniest things I've ever seen.

Crest/Banner of the Stars - Lafiel talking about her mother and her feelings regarding the reason why her parents chose to have a child together.

Haruhi - When she's got a little ponytail the morning after nearly destroying the universe.

Ouran - Haruhi realizing she should start referring to herself as ore.

There are a lot of others, but these are the ones I can think of off the top of my head.

im gonna defiantly add my vote to the ciggarete kiss in black lagoon. that was awesome

-Also from black lagoon.. surprised no one mentioned it, the most powerful part of the series IMO that really cemented my enjoyment of it. The entire 'vampire siblings' arc, but particularly the very end, the last couple of minutes of the episode. Where the little girl is taken aback by Rock since hes the only person to ever have shown her any form of kindness. The only way she knows how to repay it because of her mesed up upbringing was to drop her panties and offer herself to him. Rocks reaction and the way it all ended once she left the boat.. damn. That was so sad/dramatic/epic and the perfect way to end that arc. I remember watching that with a friend and we were both just like... 'fuck.. thats messed up'

-IMO my absolute favorite anime moment is the very end of the Kenshin Tsuiokuhen OAV. *avoiding spoilers* Right after Kenshin makes the biggest mistake of his life and at the end when hes holding her. Hes all bloodied and mangled, literally crying blood, and you get to see how he got his X shaped scar and realize the meaning behind it. God damn that moved me. Hell you can see the scene in my avatar =P

and glad someone mentioned planetES. Thats a very underated show IMO

Ahh I forgot about Macross Plus and that whole countdown/concert scene.
The tension release about the rape/sexual assault at the end of the ova was pretty intense too

it's not ruined at all, you came in here expecting to see a block of spoilers ? l havent seen many of the mentioned anime here and that also is spoiler-less, it's not ruined at all, tehre is still a lot before you to see, and the show is definitly worth every second of it, the ending is beautiful but you have no idea how or why it happened, you only see the dark side of things before you ?

if you know the lolipop is flavored banana and not vanila you stil lwant to eat it or just because you know that you don't eat it at all ?
