Code Geass & R2 Fav/Hated Characters
Havoc10K:
l don't hate Lelouch, but l don't like him eighter, l'm gonna have to finish the S2 soon, l need to sort this out as finished.
you could always use any character from any anime you love, like me, l love Chizuru and that scene is epic for me, a monument of what is being missed in casual life anime shows, tough l can't call Kanokon casual life anime :D for obvious reasons :D:D:D:D:D
but that scene is epic for me :D
Anderas:
I hated all of them to an extent, really.
I know you just can't have the anime roll perfectly with you, but I can still share my opinions.
Anyway, its been a while since I watched so I'll try to remember bits of it:
(click to show/hide)Absolute hate for:
Nina - Contrary to most others who hate her for her obsession with Euphemia,
I hated Nina because she was just a straight-up, ignorant racist, too blind to see
the moral problems with the World's present society, and in fact also jumping in
on the bandwagon.
Lelouch - Even though he's the main character, as well as the biggest difference maker,
I felt that as I was watching the series, there were so many points where he could have
made that one certain decision that would make the happy ending. Even though the story
did receive a happy ending, it felt like it went through more hell-fire loops and pitfalls
than it needed to because Lelouch couldn't be so bothered to let his personal emotions
get the best of him.
Emotionally unfeeling characters are one thing, but it feels like more of the story should
have been influenced by personal emotion over Set-In-Stone sense of Justice.
Suzaku - The other main character that felt just as equally annoying as Lelouch. His
thick-headedness bothered me a lot through the series. So many situations he was put
in where higher-up Britannian military officials would order him to "Sit put and die with the enemy,"
and being as blindly-loyal as he was, like a total tool he would obey without question.
Just about the only character I really liked was:
Euphemia - It broke my heart that she had to be killed like that, although if she was
allowed to run about killing elevens, being ordered mistakenly through Geass, it would
have become a worse problem. She was pretty much one of the few characters that, to
me, had a perfect balance of a sense of duty, as well as emotional influence in her actions.
Anyway, regardless of all that, it was still a good series to watch, and then promptly repent over for the next week.

to be honest l didn't wanted to even touch the problems you stated about the first character you pointed because l think thats rather obvious, l tried to see something nice in that person and the only thing that comes in mind is that persons rsolve in it's actions.
as for the last person you mentioned, l feel the same really, but the thing that really made me like that person is that it had actually resisted that influence, unlike others, that person resisted as much as that person could. (click to show/hide)she resisted the Geas for at least 15 seconds, it was a sad event but no one really could have expected this, even CC found that unexpected, and Lelouch couldn't really be blamed for it, at least l don't blame him for that, l think he dd the best possible thing by personally killing her, relieving anyone else from the burde that he had to carry with him.
Suzaku was worse than Zero in his actions, he was self rightous and a bastard, he, as you said, became the very tool of Brittania wich he tried to change, l think he never noticed that change, but l still have a few eps to watch, but with the newere shows being more entertainig that CG l can't be arsed.
Nina only had that ine redeeming point, her resolve to avenge Euphy, nothing else, and she was a bit cute, but a total racist as you said.
l liked Lelouch's sister a lot, she tried hard to help elevens till the eps l was watching and l dunno what happened later, but l liked her a lot so far,
l also liked that girl that loved Lelouch and had her memories wiped with his Geas, tough l have no idea how they fared later on l'll watch this when l watch the ongoing shows l'm following.
l also liked the empress of China if l'm correct, shes a lot cute. gotta keep watching at least for those characters, but that will happen when l find time ;]

If you're stuck on halfway through the second season, just be warned that your
mind will twist with so many of the absolute "What the Fuck?!" moments, UNTIL
the very last episode. Once you see that last episode, everything that seemed
to almost not make sense in your mind about Code Geasse will piece itself together.
Anyway, I can only hope for a S3, for the sole reason of...
(click to show/hide)I so badly want to see Suzaku die sometimes. But that would be the only thing I would want from an S3, and nothing else.
