Koihime Musou and Shin Koihime Musou
« on: October 12, 2009, 04:38:13 PM »

So the lovely ladies of Shoku/Shu (and the other states of the Three Kingdoms era) have returned, and Ryubi (Liu Bei) finally manages to catch up with the Five Tiger Generals! This season brings with it the promise of more boobage, more lolis, more yuri subtext, and my personal favourite, more Chou'un/Zhao Yun (though Choryo/Zhang Liao is a close second)!

And it is a sequel. Not like some voices said on the web that it's some restart with an altered storyline to include Ryubi (That's the pink colored girl at the end of episode 1, right?)

Isil, if you're reading this. Ryubi has definitely not appeard in Koihime Musou :)

* newy makes a note to finish the last installment of the Guin Saga novels quickly to start Three Kingdoms

Yet. But she will! It's actually following the novel reasonably well for such a fanservice-filled series, though Ryubi actually met Kan'u and Chouhi first, when they formed the peasant militia to suppress bandit activities (Oath in the Peach Garden and all that). Long afterwards, Bachou, Kochu and Chou'un joined up, and Ryubi had to go to quite a bit of trouble to convince Koumei to join them before beginning her campaigns against Soso and Sonken.

Er, CommieSubs is quite good actually. I'll be following their releases, unless another group (Aone-Menclave?) do it with the karaoke.

l'm not a fan of commie they arent bad true, but for some weird reason l dont like them, no hate but no love as well. l'll first watch the firs season and then start the second.

l'm DLing DVD version, l suppose there was something censored in the TV version ? if not then DVD anyways.

She did appear in the first anime? Or are you talking about the novels (which I haven't started yet)?

another season announced after the credits in the last ep, thats great considering that so little story has been revealed so far, tough considering the funny moments and everything else, it was a good watch, gonna wait for S3 ;]

Edit:

The Ova is so damn cool :D

Edit2:

Sin Koihime Musou BDs are already out on TT, BluRay Boings !
