Fate/Hollow Ataraxia

I've been trying to start a new game for f/ha on vista, but an error screen appears.  However, it works fine on xp and although I can't transfer saves, the 100% save on hongfire works.  Can someone please upload a 0% save that I can (try to) use?

Here are the error screens for those who wish to see them:

The first time I tried getting F/HA working was a mess with Vista.  I played around with it long enough and got it working.  Did you make sure to switch your regional settings to Japanese and run it as administrator?  If I remember right I also had a problem with DEP or something along those lines.

Mine works like a charm. I can load it now and take screen shots. I played through it. Tho' IT NEEDS SOME FREAKING TRANSLATION. Honestly, Type-Moon NEEDS to re-release this with voices, period. That's the major flaw now. No voices, not gonna be a good game/anime, whatever.

Well, you remember the trouble mirormoon went through to get the voices ripped and integrated.
And to wait for f/ha? This'll take a while.

Just install all your games and vns in a secondary hard drive and you'll never need to use UAC to run or to get it working.

would have been a lot easier if asian companies stopped thinking about themselves only, rarely you see a TL of a game re-released for english language by producents and publishers, the exceptions are popular PS2/PS3 game like Atelier franchiese and final fantasy and the likes, but other popular games arent translated at all, like early Higurashi and Umineko wasn't translated at all.

if publishers took enough time to release a TLed versions of their games, we wouldn't need all the hassle and wait 3-4 years for a solid translation.
Type-moon has the money for it to do it easily, they are just lazy l guess.

My computer is set to Japanese and running as admin doesn't work.

I'll try installing on my secondary hd.

Yea, you pay a translator like 10 or 20 thousand and they'll do the whole game within like a month or two months or something. And then you have English as your second option. Of course you need an editor. I don't know, I just know if they did that. THEN their games would sell better and we wouldn't need to pirate these games.

It's got me thinking, wish there was a program that could translate shit for you if you just like make ... squares or something with your mouse or circles or whatever or translates whatever's on board on a different page.

I got an e-mail today from a Chicago Japanese School and the president or director said they'll mail me the flayers on day 1 of registeration for next year's classes to learn Japanese. I can't take this anymore to be honest. Everything I want is in Japanese, getting irritated. Can't watch White Album II (fucking THE ONE GOD DAMN ANIME for this season I am looking forward to more than ANYTHING! and IT DOES NOT MAKE SENSE why not one fansub would want to pick this up).

That's why I've started learning.  Only a year and I've got hiragana, katakana, a decent vocab and basic grammar though I'd have more if I wasn't so busy with school.

Anyway, does anyone think it is possible that it'll work if I install on another computer and copy the entire directory over?

Ever tried using ATLAS and AGTH?  They try to do auto translations on visual novels, but you can end up with some pretty funny translations. I tried going through Chaos head before the patch with it and about two lines in I gave up. If the Japanese language and writing style wasn't so anal it would be easier, but I have read about people managing to read through a visual novel with them

Japanese should LRN-TO-PUT-SPACES and DROP THE KANJI. Stick to Hiragana and Katakana. Or make an easier system and drop the Kanji ...

Did you have some extra dictionaries installed when using atlas?  After you add a few it is not so bad at translation although sometimes...

Yeah considering the amount of homophones Japanese has (e.g. kikan can be written 11 different ways (excluding pure hiragana and katakana))

yeh but japaneese use Kanji as personal seals as well, and their names arent really that short to have a normal naming seal do they ?

example :
Kazuhiro
Watsunagahatashi

making a seal with that name in my country would fuck up the fonts lol so a simple Kanji seal is a lot better, besides, l like kanji :D

if you know it well enough you can make ppl gaze at you in amazement XD

l never had problems even on my W7

when you install the game with applocale you have to start the game with applocale as well, then it should work fine, the program can make a shortcut for the applocale'd program as well.
