jks aside, l hope hes rewatching because he really must've missed like 80% of the content.

I can't wait for all 4 of the new films to be out so I can marathon them.
NGE is a nice anime for thinking about what isn't made explicitly clear. I've read whole essays on small parts of the series. Its pretty fascinating.

this show is great because it shows something really unusual, and it's basis for a lot of great other shows, even if the new great shows of this genre out do this one, it's still a gem in it's league.
this show will always remain on my MVAS list. among a few other shows.

I also think I really need to rewatch the show, because I just dont get it. However, I have this problem: in the process of trying to better understand NGE I fear I will (at least) partialy lose sanity, which would defeat the point.
Aside from this I must praise it's unpriddictable story and above all, unpriddictable ending. It just leaves me cleuless... :(
