Yes. I'm not purchasing it. I'm not an Evangelion fan. Actually, I am an Evangelion fan but I don't want to purchase it. So, back ontopic:

Nope (click to show/hide)she is Shinji's mother "clone" that Gendou made after he lost his wife but essentially she is an angel.
