I think he means rebuilds, that are not complete yet, only 1.11 and 2.22 so far ;)
Yeah, that's what I mean. Should I wait until the rebuild is complete?

You could be waiting a while. We don't know when 3 and 4 are being released yet.

I hope not that long as well.

Can't wait for my shiny new copy of 2.22 to arrive. Curse the UK for getting such a late release!

It's only been out for about three weeks, not that long of a wait I think.

I only started watching NGE two days ago. The first 13 episodes were totally not what I expected...You can sum them up as "See angel, kill angel, be a pussy in your free time." ;D
I'm on the 15th episode now and it's finally becoming quite good.

The waits not long enough to justify that tbh.

"wonder why it took him 15 episode to understand the awesomness that is evangelion?" is what i think he's thinking.
as for me, the repetitive formula aside, it's in the character development and their relationships with each other.

The rest of the series was good though, and EoE too.

sorry if this has been discussed but I looked around and didn't see it. I even did a bunch of google searches and couldn't find anyone talking about it.

I just picked up 2.22 and watched it in English. I liked the original cast a lot and wanted to check it out. I first saw it in Japanese and at the very end I noticed a difference in the dub that bothered me.

You should assume english dubs have to follow a shit of a script, I don't remember an english dub following the original script since GITS, English script nowadays is pretty much 50% changed, if not more, which is more reason to simply follow original audio instead of crap shit of a dubbing that doesn't make sense half of the time :P
