dark... are you capable of making a post that doesn't deal with war?

On topic:  That tower is pretty epic.  I got a lot of free time at work, so one day I made myself a little friend using a Traffic cone, a hoodie, a broom stick, and a hat.  ^_^.

And hey, it may be nothing more than skillfully aligned trash, but that doesn't mean you can't call it art :P.  Mikan: Trash Sculpture Connoisseur

Epic :o. With that much time on my hands I only "player own" some "newbies" in a game or two, try to get in shape (excercise) and then pawn some more!
And about you being an architect...
(click to show/hide)
...there is no kind of stability in that epic structure :P

@ darkjedi: That took almost forever just to get through, I can't imagine putting it all together.

Too much times on my hands? Yes. Done something brilliant? No. I only spammed some forums tens of thousands of times.

It may bore you to tears, and it's been posted in the gaming section before, but not a single reply!

oh dear, the time of youth wasted on such a thing..

Oh and I really like that tune. :3 and as for time, for collecting clips and compiling the footage, I'd guess roughly a month accounting for time spent doing other things?

I once spent a good 20 minutes stacking paper and wood to build a "Big Fire". My friends said they were cold and told me to make a "big fire". 20 minutes later, the fire was a good 20 feet high (from about 4-5 feet of wood) and the heat could be felt almost 9 feet away. (There's some pictures somewhere) From that point on, my friends made sure to specify properly. (You could cook sausages 2-3 feet from the fire, it was that hot)

Other things include taking time to draft out a type of post modern city that is self sustaining and would help to decrease the urban problem of space/traffic in North America. Keep in mind it's a draft that is both supposedly sustainable and cost effective as well.

I once made a duct tape tomahawk just to use to put in tent pegs while camping with friends.

Anyone remember lego and k'nex? You sit for hours making the stupidest things that you just trash in 2-3 minutes.
This is your home now. So take advantage of everything here, except me.

I read a lot too about military when I have much time and sometimes catalog the inventory and order of battle of various military in the world.

Since last week I've been reading about South Korea-Japan military balance in particular.

(click to show/hide)

You know, this one battle group of the JMSDF is enough to knock out the whole South Korean navy, and Japan has 4 battle groups like this.

So I look for solutions to defeat them, and I come up with this one:

(click to show/hide)

The problem is that Japan has a lot of F-15J/DJ's like this one also:

(click to show/hide)

They have almost 200 of those.

So I come to counter them with this:

(click to show/hide)

170 F-16C/D Blocks 32/52, 100 F-4E. Good enough, I guess. (as long as they get adequate radar help from the E-767 and not be caught off-guard by Japan's long-ranged F-15's, that is)

The problem is that the F-16 cannot loiter around for long in the East Sea. For example:

(click to show/hide)

The Dokdo islets (the English-corrupted name is 'Liancourt Rocks') is the most likely site of an aerial battle between the ROK military and the Japanese SDF because of the islets' ambiguous nationality; Japan claims it's theirs, we claim it's ours.

If the KF-16 launches from Jungwon, they have only 5 minutes to perform air superiority duties above the Dokdo islets. If they launch from Gangneung, they have 20 minutes. We don't have an airbase in Ulleung-do. Our F-15K can loiter for 70-80 minutes if they launch from the same locations but we only have 60 F-15's as compared to Japan's 200 F-15's. Q_Q

(click to show/hide)

^
For now, patrolling Dokdo islets with KF-16 like that is a wishful thinking.

Then again protecting them with just our F-15K's and 2 battle groups against the JSDF is also a bad idea.

So we have to bring in aerial refuelers like this again so the whole of our air force can participate:

(click to show/hide)

Right now, the ROKAF has none of those.

Adding insult to injury is JASDF's own possession of AEW and AWACS like these ones:

(click to show/hide)

(click to show/hide)

Their surveillance equipment will lift up the fog of war from the whole Korean peninsula to pick up whatever movement from ROK's part.

Well my armchair studies go on and on ~_~

Nope. He wrote longer posts before.
