High definition releases of _insert title here_
wesd:
Specifically, I've been occasionally doing the usual half hearted poking around for releases (official or fansub) of various titles that would just seem obvious choices for various reasons and keep finding lots of heresay or speculation or reference to a mysterious remaster.
Would anyone happen to know if any of these titles have actually had a release (and I'd be more than interested to hear speculation as to why or why not).
Berserk (I've heard there was a remaster, although haven't seen anything tangible about it being in english or even a good remaster)
Lain: Serial Experiments (It never occurred to me there would be a reason not to do this one in 1080)
Blue Sub 6 (there's a bit of wonkyness with the cgi mix in hindsight, but it wasn't too bad)
Cromartie High School (I can just see my wallet falling out of my pocket for this one)
Wishful thinking ...
Dagger of Kamui/Kamui no ken? (there are probably a dozen reasons to put this on the backburner)
Ninja Scroll ( I think I've seen this too many times for my own good)
Incidentially, has anyone else recently had their wishlist granted by the HD fairy?

Not quite what I had in mind, by official I meant officially released by the studio (either licensed and released in the US or not although ideally if licensed, released).
As to the search, I did a quick scan for high definition release, and I think it was the forums around here that may have originally mentioned that mysterious Berserk remaster for dvd (which other rumors indicated saw a release in the US).
As for releases of most of the titles I mentioned, I'm pretty sure I've come across what could only be a few sad attempts at upscaling to date, but haven't encountered anything more impressive than a halfhearted repackaged dvd set.
Havoc10K:
everything thats in the thread l guided you to is or supposed to be information of officially licenced/non-licenced releases on a Blu Ray, and BluRays are ALWAYS HIGH DEFINITION !
kurandoinu:
The OP never said that he just wanted blurays though. He wants remasters of older series's as well which could be on DVD
