Id post on their site asking but you cant register an account.. I dont know if they didn't bother coding it properly or what but from what i can tell its the same length as any other ep, i dont understand why its half a friggin gig big, thats beyond insane. I would just grab another group for that size but theres no one else thats really done it

christ.. 500 megs. I was waiting for this to wrap up before i watched it.

I'm surprised you didn't complain about ep. 27 then, that was over 650MB. For that episode, they mentioned on the site that trying to keep the filesize at the usual 350MB made it look like total shit, so the filesize went up to keep the quality reasonable. I'd imagine it's the same issue with this episode.

Besides, it's hardly unprecedented. Just look at AonE-Menclave's release for Ep. 25 of Macross F, over 700MB right there. Hell, any Thora release is given to be gargantuan in size (lol 2GB for one episode of Basquash). I hardly see what the deal is here.

Havoc10K:
if l remember Thora releases BDs releases, size doesn't matter to it.

So I downloaded and watched this show in one week.

Kemono no Souja Erin had to be one of the best animes I've ever seen. The only word that even comes close to describing it is absolutely beautiful. Although it isn't a fast-paced, action-packed thriller, its unique art style plus its captivating story had my eyes glued from episode 1. At times this show was heartwrenching, at other times happy, and at other times relentlessly....... pleasant. Loved the beginning, loved the bulk of it, ADORED the end. I highly recommend this anime to anyone and everyone.

One thing I didn't like about it, though, was:

(click to show/hide)The time skips. I didn't like how they went directly from 10 years old to 14 in one episode, and then directly to 18 years old in another.
All in all, this show became one of my favorites, and I'm actually satisfied with the ending, and am not dying for a second season.

But hey, that's just my opinion  ;)

P.S. for those who have watched this, did you find yourself frequently doing this:

(click to show/hide)I didn't expect said things in the first place and was rather positively surprised they happened. So, I don't think that 4 years in one episode isn't big. I mean, we see a lot of her in the remaining episodes and the series is already 50 episodes long. How long would it become if the time skips are extended? Keep in mind that they made the time skips after every ~15th episode after the recap, iirc.

(click to show/hide)A little segment that detailed how her life went by through those sets of four years wouldn't have hurt :). I just wanted to see her growing gradually, is all  ;)
