alright, have you been using that for a while, meaning any recent updates, have you installed anything new, etc etc..

also, does your javascript work on other web-pages? Java and javascript are two separate things.  ;)

Do you have any extensions that could be causing this behavior?  Try disabling them all and see if that makes a difference.

A really stupid question but have you restarted FF? I had that issue too although I had the recommended pages allowed in NoScript. Restarting helped me though.

I have a feeling that "if" other websites are working with javascript, (which it probably is since the question was only raised here), that the problem has to do with the browsers themselves, meaning you should try clearing cache files, doing some cleanups, scanning for viruses [some block javascript entirely], and a fresh install if all else fails.

I got a feeling that it not the Brower issue.
Install NoScript as newy suggested.

I'm still having the same issue.
both my home desktop and well as my netbook.

But issue with my office computer with NoScript  install.

I'm scanning for virus now.

Installing NoScript is not going to help; if anything, it will /cause/ issues with javascript.

Did you do this, or any of the other things suggested?

Hello all,

I'm currently having the same problem as the topic-starter as well.

I'm on Win XP 32bit SP3, and the descriptions, filelist, peer list are all disabled on FF 3.5.4, Chrome and IE as well. I have another laptop (with Vista Home) on the home wireless network that also has the same problem.

Disabling all my extensions, turning off my anti-malware / anti-virus doesn't work. I also do not have NoScript or any JS script blocking software.

Is there anything else that I haven't tried yet?

Thank you.

If you right-click where the description should be, and say "view only this frame", can you see it?  For instance, can you see this page?

Do you have an ip filter app, and if so, is it blocking google api's? >_< nvm

Restart in safe-mode with networking and try it again.

i got a question:
i had downloaded Ghost Hound complete and i've changed the file names and now i want to reseed but i can't?
i've read the Wiki about reseeding and relocating files but i don't really get it, like when i try to relocate a file it just makes a new file and continues downloading but not seeding, if you know what i mean?

you either have to rename the files back to its original name or use the utorrent relocate option for every file (stop torrent, rightclick on every file in the torrent clients file tab, relocate, point to renamed file, don't forget to force-recheck).
and you do understand that your question has nothing, not even remotely, to do with the topic, right?
