Well go play online and find people you like, and make new friends!

Make friends? With the people from the console community (I've had horrible experiences with these people)? No thanks.

I'll just wait for BF3 and get it for PC.

Consoles are people too!

TMRNetShark:
I have been playing Resistance 3 for a couple of hours now (just picked it up since I finished Dead Island)... played through the first couple of missions, your standard Resistance type gameplay with a LOT tighter controls.

What really caught my eye though, is multiplayer....

Holy fucking s***. Why did I bleep shit and not fuck? Cause God diggy DAMN the multiplayer is addictive. For starters, walking over a dead body of an enemy automatically give you their gun. That means if you live long enough, you can collect all the weapons in one life during multiplayer. The modes themselves are pretty standard (DM, TDM, "Rush", CTF, and "Breach"), but what really caught my eye is this "Anything" option. Basically, it's just a nice little match making feature that places you in lobbies where you can vote for different match types. It's a little feature that SEEMS insignificant but I like playing with the same group of people in TDM and then the next match be CTF...

Anyways, the combat and vastly varying weapons is stellarly balanced. I felt that even though I've only unlocked the standard classes, I can still keep up (and in some matches, surpassed) with players who are already lvl 20+.

BTW, cheapest gun is definitely the Bullseye. It's accurate without the secondary fire and works really well at medium to short range... but if stick an enemy with the secondary fire... I'll just say that wailing on them with an SMG that NEVER misses is so much fun. Only downside? I can only hit one target. :P

Anyways, Resistance might actually keep me playing it through BF3 and MW3 this year... it surprised me to say the least. :)
