I've started watching this and it reminds me of Hidamari Sketch + Sketchbook full colours. The Hidamari art style and often Miyako personality of randomness combined with Sketchbook full colours included story of cats only from watching the first episode. :p

Those chickens were fat (Only finished ep1 atm) it made me wonder why they were there, then it reminded me of True Tears. Random chicken is random.
