The cost of internet.

I was just wondering how much BBT members pay for their internet service. If you wouldn't mind, post how much you pay monthly, what kind of bandwidth you (supposedly) get, and if possible what country you're in, which service provider and service package you have (if any). You can of course add any details you find interesting.

I think it would be easier if we used US Dollars equivalence. You can use this website for currency conversions: http://www.xe.com/ucc/
For myself:
Monthly Fee: $26
Bandwidth: 1Mbit (1Mbit DL, 384kbit UL) (this is actually quite accurate)
Country: Malaysia
Service Provider: TMNet (the only ISP in Malaysia, run by a privatized former government company which also provides all landline telephone services, Telekom Malaysia...)
Package: Streamyx 1.0Mbps (currently the best package is 4.0Mbps, yes I know it's crap.)

PS, perhaps the title should be "The cost of bandwidth"?

Klocknov:
Monthly Fee: $42.95
Bandwidth: 12(15mbps with boost)DL and 2(3mbps with boost)UL plus a 250gig bandwidth cap DL/UL per a month
very inacurate on the DL since I'm lucky to get 5mbps but UL sits about right on, most the time I see boost at night.
Country: United States
Service Provider: Comcast
Package: Performance: 12 Mbps/ 2 Mbps (up to 15 Mbps/3 Mbps with PowerBoost) <-- that is base package.

Slysoft:

It costs $69 per month, unless you write it off for your company to pay ^^

Currently - $20/m for .8/.2 via tmobile tethering.
My roommate spends $50 for .3/.08 via sprint mobile broadband.

The only other options are satellite internet at isdn speeds for around $120,  an independent 3G service over ATT and tmobile networks with no usage cap for $70, or comcast.
It's pretty sad but even residential comcast is better than the other options.

As soon as the contract is up on the sprint service next month, we'll be switching to comcast business class - $75 for a dedicated 16/2 line.  The $15 over the residential service includes dedicated service, the modem rental, an 8x increase in the usage cap to 2TB, lower taxes, and $130 less in installation fees.  After a year, the actual cost ends up about the same, for considerably better service.  It's not nearly as good as verizon fios ($75 for 25/15), but it's easily the best available.

Klocknov:
your not going to spend the 100$ for the 50/10??
