I'd much rather have a 6/1 line with no cap than a 20/2 line with a 50GB cap.

Shit, I used to do 400GB/month with my 1.5/.8 3G service.  Then Sprint gutted it(it's now about .3/.05) and capped it at 5GB.

I have no idea.. I called TPG and Exetel a few months back and same thing from both of them.. :o

edit: above emoticon appears to be a little inappropriate

Ugh, how do you get these plans with huge uploads? :P I pay around USD 20 for 3MB/.5MB (was paying USD60 for 1MB/.25MB). After the offer expires I will be paying around USD 50. Hopefully I will be able to upgrade to a 5MB plan soon.

Australian broadband: pumping data like it's 1999.

ADSL2+ upload speed is 1 mbps (only hits around 100 kb/s though)
ADSL2+ M upload is 3 mbps, only ISPs in australia which support this are adam and internode i think.

another thing, don't go TPG if you value your gaming experience (any servers outside of australia will give you really really really bad pings, even in australia they're terrible)
