seeding problem (specific to bakabt only)
liquidosnake:
Hi guys, I have trouble seeding.
I know it's hard to upload when there are like 100 seeders and 20 leechers, so I picked a torrent "Uchuu Senkan Yamato: Aratanaru Tabidachi [MW]" with 65 seeders and 143 leechers.
However, I still cannot upload at all. I just cannot seem to connect. In the seeds/peer list, the number is zero, but number in parenthesis is fine. So for this torrent, I get something like 0 (65), 0 (143).
I use utorrent, and the arrow is green, so connection is fine. The tracker says it's working. I also have torrents from other sites and they upload fine as well, with high speed. I only have the bakabt torrent running so not to eat bandwidth, so that shouldn't be the problem.
Does anyone know what's causing the problem? Thanks all.

Assuming that there's not actually anything wrong:
- Perhaps you have a max upload slots set. I think it's either 3 or 10 by default. You can change it under preferences, or right click and set [F]orced on the torrents you'd like to ignore slot queue.
- If you've seeded 150% (1.5 times the size of your download), µTorrent is by default set to stop seeding. You can change this under preferences as well. I think I set mine to 1000%.
- You can allow encrypted connections, also under preferences, disabled by default; which will allow more connections assuming that a portion of the swarm are forcing encryption. These peers won't seed to or download from others who don't allow encryption.
...there are probably more tricks around to try.

Which version of uTorrent are you using?
If it's 1.8.4, go back to using 1.8.3.
blubart:
even though the torrent reports 140+ leechers it seems to have non (it's a display bug or something). try another torrent (with some leechers) and i'm sure it will work fine.
liquidosnake:
thanks for the comments guys.
yeah man, it's 1.8.3.
If I can connect to just one leecher, then I can upload at a fine speed. The problem is I can't connect even though the arrow is green and I can see how many peers.
I downloaded another torrent, the new Fatal Wolf one, and that one uploads alright, even though there are lots of seeders.
I think the problem is that I can upload while downloading a new torrent, but that I have to leave the torrent on. If I stop the torrent, restart the PC or whatever, and come back to seed the torrent, then I can't connect at all.
