Hi,

I made an Blog entry about the new Windows 7 Manga Theme. You can also Download it there (For Windows 7 Users: Just rename from zip to .themepack again) I'm sorry it is in German, but tell me what you think about it. I believe the Sounds are great but the Wallpapers are somewhat ugly. More to come, of course, from the Fans.

Is there a way to get the wallpapers without all of the writing/Windows Media Center stuff on them? I assume they're official.

They are official, they come like that. It was a bit of a disappointment.

I saw that themepack on some other site couple days ago, and it's pretty much the main reason I finally got around to obtaining Windows 7(yeah I know you can make it work in XP, but that didn't feel right)

...my PC is moe now. FML.

I thought about getting it to work on this box, decided against it due to I don't want to go threw all that work... I already got the base W7 theme working and don't much like it from use. Though I wouldn't mind that sound pack, that could make it worth it.

Well, the base W7 theme isn't too pretty, especially the default one with huge-ass icons everywhere, and I don't see a point in trying to imitate that look. But if your machine is at least decent, you could consider actually switching to W7 for practical rather then aesthetic reasons, I must say I like it a lot. and once I get the hang of things and configure them for my preferences, it looks like it could be really awesome.
But if a switch is out of the question, then yeah, do install the voices - they're pretty damn awesome. (though I had to turn off my favorite one, ~~*chinchin*~~ *chin*, because it kept randomly sounding while installing stuff, and there's only that many times you can laugh at penis jokes.)
...but nonetheless, making the machine I already spend entirely too much time interacting with, talk to me, and in a ridiculously cute(just listen to the damn error messages) voice to boot, makes me somewhat worried. As in "oh god what's wrong with my life" worried.

It's possible to change the size of the icons.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one that hates the larger taskbar icons. I though i was the only one. I also can't get used to the hidden labels so i just set it to 'Combine when taskbar is full'. It just didn't look right.

The voice that comes with the theme is sickeningly cute, btw. I HNNNNNGH every time I open and close a window now. It's pretty bad.

I'm only using the new mail notification sound for Thunderbird. I'd be cool for my pc to sound moe, but I don't understand ~~moonspeak~~ Japanese. Would be too annoying to readjust.
