Cannot seed/leech at all

Hi, I just started using bakabt, and i can't start downloading or uploading any of my files.  I think it has something to do with the tracker data sets, (DHT, LOCAL PEER DISCOVERY, PEER EXCHANGE), because all of their 'statuses' say 'not allowed'.  I checked the FAQ but this is a pretty specific question and found no luck.

Any info on the matter will be helpful.

If my memories serve me right, you need to wait a week before you can leech or seed from Bakabt.

Well I can't remember if what dark said is right... memory fails me too

But DHT, Local Peer Discovery and Peer Exchange are not allowed with BBT-torrents.

dht and co are working in a different way, routing the traffic around the tracker. this is of course an unwanted behavior for a tracker with ratio tracking (as everything downloaded/uploaded that way wouldn't count towards the ratio). that's why all bakabt torrents have the private flag set, disabling everything but the bakabt tracker.
as long as you can connect to the bakabt tracker itself everything is alright.

Specifically, what details/info should I provide?

The torrent I am trying to download is "Mai Hime Visual collection"
I am also trying to upload "The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi" (Hitjusi) and "Hayate not Gotoku" (SS-Eclipse).

the "tracker.bakabt.com/...." is considered "working", but the download/upload has not started at all.  (it has been over four hours according to Utorrent".

I am using the latest version of UTorrent and my roommate, (who also has a bakabt) account also noticed that he is unable to UPLOAD or DOWNLOAD any torrents.  He (userid:falconboya) has been a member for a few months now, and his torrents stopped seeding/downloading altogether.

Anyways, back to the initial problem at hand, I think it might be because of my ISP, but all other torrents from other torrent tracker sites are working perfectly. 

I would really like to solve the issue for both myself and my roommate.  I do realize that it is HIGHLY LIKELY that (since both of us have the same issue) our ISP is at fault, but are there any other reasons why we might not be able to download at all?

If you're using the latest version of uTorrent (1.8.4), downgrade by one version (to 1.8.3). That should solve your problem.

What make us different is, I only download 1 anime Series (Fafner: Dead Agressor)
and now I'm searching forums like a hell

If you're using the latest version of uTorrent (1.8.4), downgrade by one version (to 1.8.3). That should solve your problem.

I'm going offtopic but is 1.8.4 not recommended?

Recommended if it works for you. If it doesn't, go back to 1.8.3.
