just a little somthing to get people in the mood for COD:MW2
shabutie:
I haven't nuked anything yet :(
Mainly cause I'm running around just trying to get the challenges done and hit 70
(BTW: Throwing Knives = Lolawesome! Played a game where I went 21 and 9 with 19 knife/throwing knife kills)

On the 360 this game rocks. Very nice indeed. Unfortunately - I don't play it on the 360.
I Was about to go get the PC version too - for real games - and then *gasp*
wtf?
T_T
Guess I'll wait for Bad Company 2. The collective turd on PC gaming has been reversed - first it was Battlefield ... taking an amazing title and making it a console exclusive - now it's Infinity Ward - taking an amazing title and giving the PC gaming community a good slap in the face. I'd rather have had NONE than have what they tossed at us for PC.
I'm not all that surprised though. After World at War - how shitty that is for PC, and how it's bounds better on 360 ( and I play it on 360 too ... o.O ) --- yeah, not surprised at all.
Their programming team ... isn't superhuman, after all.
Drew:
Terminal (spec-ops) on Veteran is hard. Like, wtf. Even rocking a riot shield it's ridiculous.

yea so as a competitive player of cod1 cod2 cod4 on pc i have to say the game itself for cod6 is quite good. The massive shit that activision took on its massive PC audience saddens me greatly.
Currently i cant see any way a league will pick up codmw2 in its current state. There are many features lacking that are similar to the ones that helped crippled cod waw, such as no recording capability built in, no console, no dedicated servers, next to zero anticheat, and they removed leaning.
Worst of all is that more or less all of the features that would make the game awesome are there but disabled.
Wouldnt shock me if lean was still in the game even, seeing as all the features such as/record for making demos and the ability to play them all back are still in the game.

Sure the campaign is great, but who the hell buys a PC FPS for the singleplayer? Nobody. Singleplayer was good when Wolf3D was out, yeah - way back then - but now the FPS title *Demands* excellent multiplayer. COD6 - has horrible multiplayer. 9 v 9? We have people that can pull off a 4:1, 5:1,6:1 ratio - with 9 v 9 - you're going to have rounds dominated by one person on one side, and a horrible play experience for everyone. When a single person can knock out over half the enemy team - or more - then what?
PC != console. On console everyone is crippled by the controller, and shit hardware ... PC's a whole different beast. Seriously - we haven't had multiplayer THIS small since the FIRST PC INTERNET MULTIPLAYER FPS GAME ( Quake 1 - and I think Q1 supported bigger rounds than THIS pathetic excuse for multiplayer. )
Come to think of it - with everything that's required to have a PC ranked game / league game ... I don't even know HOW the hell COD6 would even pull anything off.
Seriously - what the hell were they thinking. I wish they didn't release a PC version - would have been better. It's pathetic.
Might work for some shit like battlefield heroes - or BF1943 ( that's another terrible title, imo - it's one of the most BUTTHURT titles on the 360 - it's sickening, it's disgusting, it's something I regret looking at ) - but man, if COD4 was like that ...
UGH - actually the more I think about it the more damn pissed I get. I Was looking forward to this title as my new FPS of choice, and they completely shit on everyone.
Sucks.
