I haven't nuked anything yet :(

Mainly cause I'm running around just trying to get the challenges done and hit 70

(BTW: Throwing Knives = Lolawesome!  Played a game where I went 21 and 9 with 19 knife/throwing knife kills)

On the 360 this game rocks.  Very nice indeed.   Unfortunately - I don't play it on the 360.

I Was about to go get the PC version too - for real games - and then *gasp*

wtf?

T_T

Guess I'll wait for Bad Company 2.   The collective turd on PC gaming has been reversed - first it was Battlefield ... taking an amazing title and making it a console exclusive - now it's Infinity Ward - taking an amazing title and giving the PC gaming community a good slap in the face.   I'd rather have had NONE than have what they tossed at us for PC.

I'm not all that surprised though.   After World at War - how shitty that is for PC, and how it's bounds better on 360 ( and I play it on 360 too ... o.O ) --- yeah, not surprised at all.

Their programming team ... isn't superhuman, after all.

Nothing.

Terminal (spec-ops) on Veteran is hard. Like, wtf. Even rocking a riot shield it's ridiculous.

yea so as a competitive player of cod1 cod2 cod4 on pc i have to say the game itself for cod6 is quite good. The massive shit that activision took on its massive PC audience saddens me greatly.

Currently i cant see any way a league will pick up codmw2 in its current state. There are many features lacking that are similar to the ones that helped crippled cod waw, such as no recording capability built in, no console, no dedicated servers, next to zero anticheat, and they removed leaning.

Worst of all is that more or less all of the features that would make the game awesome are there but disabled.
Wouldnt shock me if lean was still in the game even, seeing as all the features such as/record for making demos and the ability to play them all back are still in the game.

Sure the campaign is great, but who the hell buys a PC FPS for the singleplayer?  Nobody.   Singleplayer was good when Wolf3D was out, yeah - way back then - but now the FPS title *Demands* excellent multiplayer.   COD6 - has horrible multiplayer.  9 v 9?   We have people that can pull off a 4:1, 5:1,6:1 ratio - with 9 v 9 - you're going to have rounds dominated by one person on one side, and a horrible play experience for everyone.   When a single person can knock out over half the enemy team - or more - then what?

PC != console.   On console everyone is crippled by the controller, and shit hardware ... PC's a whole different beast.   Seriously - we haven't had multiplayer THIS small since the FIRST PC INTERNET MULTIPLAYER FPS GAME ( Quake 1 - and I think Q1 supported bigger rounds than THIS pathetic excuse for multiplayer. )

Come to think of it - with everything that's required to have a PC ranked game / league game ... I don't even know HOW the hell COD6 would even pull anything off.

Seriously - what the hell were they thinking.   I wish they didn't release a PC version - would have been better.   It's pathetic.

Might work for some shit like battlefield heroes - or BF1943 ( that's another terrible title, imo - it's one of the most BUTTHURT titles on the 360 - it's sickening, it's disgusting, it's something I regret looking at ) - but man, if COD4 was like that ...

UGH - actually the more I think about it the more damn pissed I get.   I Was looking forward to this title as my new FPS of choice, and they completely shit on everyone.

Sucks.

Face it. All the old PC game developers are moving to consoles. Makes much more money.

And playing campaign is better than playing with 13-year-olds who cry "hax0r" whenever they got killed.
All you have to do is study it out. Just study it out.

i dont expect XPL, or GGL, or Cevo to pick up cod6 at least not until they unlock dedicated servers and the console and possibly unlock lean again.

Yup I agree fully. I enjoy almost all maps, but one. Afghan was the map where I got my 32 killstreak. Which was back when I was lvl20 with Famas.
Terminal has to be my 5th favorite map.

As for coming back to tell you about my campaign experience. It was AWESOME. Even with the fact of how difficult it was on veteran it was enjoyable.
(click to show/hide)
Which I'm really hoping for lol.

Back to the MP experience, I have played 14hrs straight because of how much I'm enjoying it. Seriously wanna prestige already, but I also don't wanna go through the hell of trying to get my M16 all over again.

I've been hearing that each time you prestige you get more experience for challenges so you can rank up faster. Like say you get 10k for the 500kills for a gun, but when you prestige you get like 20k or something instead this time around. Does anyone if this is true or not?

Also if anyone wanna add me my gamertag is Jinyo213.

You should Prestige at least once. Tons of extra stuff unlocked when you do.

I've been hearing that each time you prestige you get more experience for challenges so you can rank up faster. Like say you get 10k for the 500kills for a gun, but when you prestige you get like 20k or something instead this time around. Does anyone if this is true or not?
That's not true. You unlock new persistent Prestige challenges that follow you for your entire Prestige career (they don't reset if you decide to Prestige again), but all of the old challenges receive no boost in XP amount. So while you may complete two challenges where you would normally only complete one, and get 20,000 experience for it, it'll only happen once. Most of these Prestige challenges eventually go to 2,500 kills or so.

---

I've been playing every day until my hands seize up. So close to Prestige 2. D:

I heard a glitch was to gave a friend just get an LMG and you use a riot shield and he sprays all his bullets into the shield for you. It gives you like 20k worth of match bonus and stuff. Which is the reason why you see 10th Prestiges already and stuff.
That sucks no extra exp =[. I'll prestige fully when I get time to get to it. Right now I'm only lvl63 non-Prestige and I want my model -.-
The riot shield boosting is the best way to boost next to having the person give you FULLY kills and wins or so I heard lol. Really funny how people like track this kind of stuff down to just rank up -.-

2500kills ain't bad at all. I already capped out the M16, ACR, and Mtar on skills so lol. Shouldn't be that bad to get that much kills. I live in TDM anyways unless my friend invites me to HCSD. That sucks it doesn't give you exp every time you prestige and reset and stuff.

Nah, that doesn't work. There's diminishing returns on the points you get for deflecting/absorbing bullets with the riot shield. The best way to do it is actually find an enemy Sentry Gun and stand in front of it. Thousands of bullets in a very short amount of time. You stop getting points at around 750 per match, so it doesn't really make it worth it to use this method. Too slow. You're better off just killing people.

People on the top of the leaderboards are boosting. They get a number of extra consoles and Xbox Live accounts, dump them into a big party, invite them to a match-making lobby, and then slaughter the player-less soldiers on the other team. Basically, they've got way too much time and money on their hands.

I watched my friends do the riot shield boosting and he ended up with over 20k of bonus experience in one go of TDM and that is with people disturbing them and them getting kills when they needed to. Don't know how that works, but yeah they just instant rank up and everything. One of them is already a 5th prestige and he just started about 3days ago.(Pisses me off honestly) Leaderboards I already knew were boosting and some of them used the riot shield bs. I don't if they fixed it or some shit, but I do know that people were just getting massive amounts of points from it.

People who spend extra money and stuff just to boost themselves need to get out more. I have extra accounts and a few consoles and don't even do it. Well also because everyone in the house would beat my ass if I were to touch their accounts. I don't get whats the point of boosting other than the fact you can show off and show that you need to go outside and stop being inside the house all the time. Either way I think boosting is plain stupid, I mean what good is it if you can't feel like you actually earn it all.

Anyways I need 63more headshots until my fall on my M16. Yes I did it fully legit. I used it non-stop since I got it lol. Everything, but headshots are done on it. woooooo I can't wait to get it. Fall, Red tiger, and Urban camos are my favorite.

My M16 class is M16 Bling Holo and extended mag, M10 bling grip and FMJ, throwing knife if I'm looking for fun and Semtex when I actually want to do something, 2stuns, Hardline, Ninja, and Final Stand
Waiting to get to 67 for my model to replace the M10 lol.

Only games I play is TDM, HCSD(If friend invites), and HCHQ(If other friend invites). Other than that I don't touch anything at all. Would of played tactical, but yeah its 3rd person and I honestly hate it. =X

Anyone else having problem getting their nuke? -.-
I always get 23/24kills and right when I am going to get it I get killed off from behind. I hate that. I've had it happen over 20 or so times already. Whats a major bitch is that I got 26streak before I could unlock the nuke and since then I never got a higher streak than 23/24.

Harrier > Chopper Gunner > EMP/Nuke.

I've been able to get 16 Nukes and I don't even know how many EMPs using that lineup. It's almost a joke, really.

I tried that and harrier just gets owned quick and the problem isn't getting the kills its the fact I die RIGHT when i am about to get my last kill I need for it lol.

You could just be very unlucky, then. My Harrier is usually plugging away when I get the Chopper Gunner, and having them both up at once offers some protection for the Chopper Gunner as it can be a pretty big distraction. Typically I can get my Nuke while I'm actually still piloting the Chopper Gunner. If you find yourself dying a lot with only one or two kills to go, try holing up in a good camping spot and just waiting it out. It's always better to be patient that to get overly excited and rush to your death.

Yeah I'm a bit of a rusher =X. I HATE staying in a spot for too long and that is what owns me lol. My harrier in EVERY game gets owned and shot down in seconds. Right when I call it in after the airstrike it does it gets shot down instantly lol. Also I never have liked chopper gunner, but everyone says its better than AC130.

Kinda sucks that the Pave Low doesn't add on to your killstreak at all -.-

Woooooooooooo got my first nuke ever today xD. After prestiging and getting 35ranks after it and 26hrs more game play. I did it. T.T Now lets hope I can get my next 9 so I can get all my titles and emblems =[.

Still hate Pave Low doesn't add to your killstreak at all. I mean everything else, but care packages added on. I don't see why the Pave Low can't when you use it -.-

What game types do you guys stick with?

I usually play Ground War/FFA (Mainly cause of party chat) but more recently, I've been sticking with Headquarters (Me and my buds lost 1 game last night out of 15-20, and that was against a clan ^_^)

Also, the Precision Airstrike is the most underrated KSR in the game imo.  I like it more than the Harrier.  (Though I do love having Precision > Harrier > Stealth Bomber as my 3...  So many planes! Can cover the map on some levels)

(EDIT: Well maybe second... Dunno about the EMP, only been hit by it twice and used it once.  It's cool for knocking shit outta the sky, but I use iron sights on most of my guns ^_^)
