I've dropped my PS3 before and it still works (onto tile floor, no less).

Actually, I've dropped all of my consoles at one point or another, and none of them have broken. =x

Knock on wood?

Anyway, I definitely wouldn't trade all of that for a used PS3. It's worth way more than that. You'd be getting ripped off.

Got a spare PS3(20gig Japan version) sitting around, but still, why trade all that? Besides being desperate.

But if its just you being desperate, then no. Pay for the damn repair.

Idunno, No cash at the moment, and trading looks brighter at this point. have someone get use of things I dont touch.

No one is going to trade a PS2 backward compatible PS3 for what you're offering.  The last time I saw a 60GB PS3 on sale, it was going for $400.
Sell enough things on Craigslist (your PSP and the accessories, without the games, would probably be enough)to come up with the $150, get your 60 gig repaired, and play P3 for a few weeks on your old PS2.

Honestly it doesn't matter if you do or not.  You could sell one third of that stuff to get enough to repair the broken system.  After you get it back, put it on the market until you get $400, buy one without BC for about $250, and use the surplus to replace your PSP.  With a bit of patience you can come away from this with a replacement PS3 without trading anything or spending a dime.

If you don't want the PSP, try trading it and all its games and accessories, along with the broken PS3, for a non BC system.  I'm sure there's somebody out there who thinks like I do.

I was thinking of offering to buy the broken system to get a cheap 60gig for myself and then I saw that.  You have to wonder how many times the system got smashed about before accepting the inevitable.

-.- Im clumsy...

Now you're encouraging the dirty old men of BBT, like myself.
