Im suprised no-one hasnt yet opened any thread of this awesome rhythm game.. :S

Am I really the only one who play this..

Also this thread could consist of:

- talking about Stepmania
- sharing songs/themes/tips etc..
- sharing your records/achievements (eather videos [youtube] or screenshots/images)
- etc.. only stepmania related stuff..

and if this topic gets enough people how about some sort of contest? like you need to clear a special song (a special song for everyone) with as highest points as possible with the correct rule (ex. reverse notebanner, bombs, speed x2, flashing arrows.. etc)

Also if its ok for mods that it would be possible to share those songs on this thread (like posting the download link)

already have it. also played it through with dancepad.. not so hard.. (even though the final songs are hard..)
but yeah. I gotta accept that much that its almost like excersize..

I +1 this thread tho, I used to play step mania and My dad would walk in and yell at me "Why dont you ever go outside!? What the hell are you doing excersizing your fingers!?" and I would always reply "YES! you just made me fail this song! dammits"

absolutely same here. My dad hates that game. he also yelled at me that " dont you have better things to do like socializing?" and I alwayswent confuse when someone tried to say something. and then I failed the song..

Feh. Stepmania was so 2-3 years ago.

You can play StepMania with pads using a USB adapter. I use the Super Dual Box. It's cheap, supports two pads, and gets the job done.

Also for everyone I added on first post few good download sites, that has good amount of music packs..
Also if someone knows good sites, might wanna share them with other?

Umm... I just looked up stepmania in isohunt.

I lied. It's only 10.xx GB but it was a compilation only to a certain point.

The 5.xx GB one is still well seeded though.

There's more than 1 version of many many songs. Butterfly alone probably has like 30. Actually.

+1 for that! one of the best song ever made on DDR. Also if you can remember the steps on Challenge..

Also one of my favorite songs is Vertex Beta.. One of the hardest songs ever.. (even though you can make you own steps for it. but mostly those steps that are on that video is the usuals ones..) And I still have that

cant get AA on it.. :S my hands get so damn tired in the middle of song..

Hardest song I've done with getting a score that's above 80%. No videos on youtube have this version, it's found in the Evers songpack. This is harder than all the versions on youtube.
