Can't I leech from another tracker and seed here?
« on: November 04, 2009, 08:32:43 PM »
I'm going to explain better:
I'm leeching a torrent which I found on another site, and it appears to be the same as one here.
Can't I direct the seeding on this tracker?

PS: Sorry if my english isn't correct at all

No, you can't. But as soons as you have finished downloading from that other site you can use the files (if they are the exact same files) to seed the torrent here. Just download the torrent here and assign them to the files.

EDIT: Actually, I don't know if you can assign two torrents to the same files at the same time.

I knew nothing of the outside world. I was just a frog in a well.

Not while they're downloading. But if the torrent is complete, you can seed 2 torrents with the same set of files.

You can, if they're both just seeding (nasty issues, otherwise).  I don't know why you'd keep the other one still going, though.
