PS3 Or X360 ?

Reasons not to purchase a PS3 . . .
1. It's made by the Nazi's at sony
2. Sony is notorious for using bogus reasons to weasel out of warranty contracts ( http://consumerist.com/2009/06/dusty-ps3-inspector-threw-dirt-on-ps3-so-he-wouldnt-have-to-repair-it.html)
3. Unless you have a 1080p HDTV, 1080p support really is not a valid selling point.
4. Lack of game variety and exclusive content, Sony has a hand full of games exclusive to the PS3, none of which warrant the purchase of a PS3 just to play them, not until the PS3 becomes 175 or so dollars.
5. PSN is rather empty, and has very little to offer, and odd ball exclusives don't really make up for a complete lack of content.
6. It's ugly, and attracts dust (which apparently can void your warranty http://consumerist.com/2009/06/dusty-ps3-inspector-threw-dirt-on-ps3-so-he-wouldnt-have-to-repair-it.html) faster than any electronic device ever created.
7. Sony releases buggy updates and bricks your console, then wants to charge you 150 dollars for it ( http://www.gamespot.com/ps3/puzzle/playstationhome/news.html?sid=6239189 ) to be fixed.
8. The vast majority of games on the PS3, are also available on the XBOX 360, and some also on the PC.
Reasons to buy a PS3 . . .
1. PSN is free, because they charge the content providers, so that PSN is free to end users.
2. Polished interface, and high definition audio and video support.
3. A hand full of quality games, and some more to come ( God of War 3 ).
4. Has a lot of the same games as the XBOX 360.
Reasons not to buy an XBOX 360 . . .
1. Somewhat unreliable I.E. the Red Ring of Death ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xbox_360_technical_problems ).
2. XBOX live costs money for full access.
3. XBOX live is ugly and unpolished.
4. Lack of 1080p support for the non elite models.
Reasons to buy an XBOX 360 . . .
1. XBOX live has a large amount of content to offer.
2. A large amount of exclusive titles that are worth playing, also exclusive franchise, like Halo, Forza, Gears of War, Left 4 Dead, Crackdown, ect.
3. A much larger game library than the PS3.
4. Microsoft has acknowledged the problem of the RRoD ( Red Ring of Death ) , and has a support program in place to help with RMA, and official failure rates are 3-5 % which is average for electronics.
5. More variety in models available, you can purchase a basic XBOX 360 for 200 dollars, and add a HD to it as you get more money.
6. Has almost all the same games the PS3 has.
7. A large online community, so playing games online is always an option.
These are the Pros and Cons as I see it. Also before people come and flame me let me say that I own both. I also own a Wii, and very expensive gaming PC. And to be honest the CONSOLE i get the most use out of is the XBOX 360, that's not to say I don't enjoy playing some killzone2 online, just the complete lack of games is a big downer.

Yep 10 years, 3 of which was spent by sony going look see we have like 6 whole games worth playing!
You've been unlucky, the RRoD rates are 3-5% which is normal for electronics. Also at least when your XBOX RRoD's because of a design flaw from Microsoft, they don't charge you $150 to fix your bricked console, thats their fault ( http://www.gamespot.com/news/6239189.html?sid=6239189&part=rss&subj=6239189 ).
Sony constantly touting Blu-Ray is a joke, and though it may be more powerful, it's notoriously difficult to program for, which is why there is and always will be a huge lack of exclusive content.

GoW it not 3 games. It's 1 game not even out yet. GoW 1 and 2 are playable on the PS3 but they are not for the PS3, so that really 9 games for the PS3. But lets use your Sony fan boy math. You forgot to count Halo 1 and 2 as well as ODST so that's 3 games, also you left out fable 1. Also the MGS series is not exclusive to Sony anymore.
Also the fact that XBOX does have more games is true! Next time your at game stop or wherever you purchase your games, pull Sony's dick out of your mouth long enough to take a look at the difference in the amount of games they will have for the PS3, then look at the games for the XBOX.
But what ever, I knew I would get flamed for haveing an opinion that does not tow the line of elitism and worship of the techno Nazi's of Sony. Thanks for proving me correct. well, Gow1&2 is being upgraded slightly for PS3, so I don't know if I'd discount it, but it's definitely not something to tote as an exclusive. And MGS4 IS exclusive. so it does count.
Not sure who you used for rankings though. I got slightly different results looking at different average sights, but none that had all the games you listed for in the 90 percentile range.
