That's good ^_^ (Hell, I barely agree with myself)
It's been a while since I actually enjoyed playing my 360 (Can only play CoD4 for so much before it gets really old). But come Tuesday, I'll be promoting it again :P. Yay for games I actually want to play coming out!

winamp remote thing?

They've been saying that since the beginning. Market analysts where saying that the PS3 would easily pass the wii and 360 within 2 years of it's launch, but so far it's not done shit. There is a lot of great content coming forward for both systems equally I would say. Exclusives are dying down for both systems and it's going to continue to do so. Exclusivity doesn't make much sense from a developers perspective when the specs are so similar for the systems
And Yes you can do media streaming for both systems.
sdedalus83:
Streaming is probably a bit easier to get set up with the 360, but the easy way only gives very limited format support.
There are programs which allow you to stream pretty much anything to either system, although it's a bit more difficult and you'll need a relatively beastly PC and a hardwired network.
The cost of a BC PS3 is going to be quite a bit higher than that of a new slim, probably higher than that of a new slim and a new slim PS2.

Lone standing up for 360?
Let me describe our entertainment area here:
- 3 PCs rigged up for gaming.
- Xbox 360.
- PS3
- Wii
---
Wii - I don't need to say a word about Wii.
Xbox 360 -
- Superior online service, Xbox Live can not be matched, by anything.
- Excellent online play & round matching
- Consistent online play with all titles ( reliability & round matching wise )
- Excellent game selection
- The controller is nice, took a little getting used-to, but I like it after a while. ( Battery life is good too )
- Load times are good.
- Natal is coming.
- OH! Nearly forgot the streaming. It sets right up with WMP10 - very easy to do - and you can watch *anything* that your WMP can play - right on your xbox. Yes, it is VERY NICE. I d/l episodes of ( insert show ) and watch them on the big screen using the 360. Yes, you can watch your anime eps too. If WMP can play it, it streams to the 360.
MS has surprisingly - done a lot of things right. How they did this - I don't know. I wish they could pull off a windows version that was as well done and planned out as 360.
PS3 -
- Same games as 360
- Very little exclusive content to warrant purchase
- The controller ... well ... the same since PS1. It's a good classic controller. I still like the feel. The battery life ... is anus though.
- Online service SUCKS
- Load times are a rotten spewing asshole with hemorrhoids. Seriously, the load times on xbox are 1/20th of what they are on PS3. PS3 has the WORST load times I've ever seen. EVER. I have never seen load times this bad since 1X CD-ROM. Just this makes PS3 unbearable to me.
( Now that I see it, ok - I did think the graphics are good. MGS4 - is a severe disappointment imo. I liked portable ops better. Killzone 2 - one of the few, few exclusives - is great. Plus, there's that sotc thing coming out ... if you liked sotc ... and GoW - is something I will buy - but - is it really worth the exclusives? If the price is low enough, yes - kinda. It now, is. )
- Need to register per-player for multiplayer
- Dropped & spotty servers / publisher-supported multiplayer games / very inconsistent online play experience
------
Current gen RPGs don't interest me. I like multiplayer.
So - of you're the kind of guy who likes to play with himself, ps3. ( For the record: I'm being an ass here. ;) )
If you value multiplayer and online play, get Xbox 360 - PS3 absolutely can not touch Xbox360's multiplayer.
Make your choice. Choose wisely. Exclusive title selection really isn't an issue these days. But really - it all boils down to internet multiplayer support. Both consoles literally have all the same stuff. But Xbox 360 is clearly the superior & untouchable console in the networking department.

Missed my post :P
but yeah, Agree with most of what you said there. Forgot about the load times. Also some PS3 games require you to install the game onto the drive, which doesn't even cut down on the load times. In MGS4, you've got about 15 minutes of installing inbetween each chapter. Very annoying. However, I did love MGS4, it was a great movie.
As far as RPGs go, no one has anything amazing exclusive, except for Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2. Every other good major RPG has gone multiplatform.
