Missed my post :P

but yeah, Agree with most of what you said there. Forgot about the load times. Also some PS3 games require you to install the game onto the drive, which doesn't even cut down on the load times. In MGS4, you've got about 15 minutes of installing in between each chapter. Very annoying. However, I did love MGS4, it was a great movie.

As far as RPGs go, no one has anything amazing exclusive, except for Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2. Every other good major RPG has gone multiplatform.

lol!

Metal Gear Rising should be good (thats what it's called right? The one with Raiden for the 360)

and totally forgot about Mass Effect (/cry)

kyanwan:
I got no idea what it's called.   MGS4 really was a lemon in the series - as a game - that left a very strong taste.   Sure, good as a movie ... but movies are not games.    : |

If there is less movies, more gameplay - ok, I think I'll buy & play it.  :D

Speaking of games I *WILL* buy & play:

DEAD RISING 2!   WOOT!   I'm getting that on release - if I have to use a mall bench to ram my way thru a crowd.   :P

I saw your post.  :)    I was just exemplifying the comment there.

I'd like to add that I don't really do consoles - and I'm coming from the viewpoint of someone who games on PC most of the time.   I'm also someone who *wanted* the 360 to fail initially ... after the fact, I was impressed greatly by how well it was done.

If I do see something I like, I will play it - though.

Well I on the other hand am a HUGE console person. Own every single one released in the US since 1985 and then plenty more on top of that. Totally called the outcome of this generation 2 years before it started. I sounded like such a loony then, but the market is very predictable if you just look at trends.

Don't get me wrong, the PS3 is a wonderfully nice piece of electronics, but it was a poorly designed console philosophy wise. Also, terrible economic time to release a super expensive one.

In all honestly, I've barely touched my 360 in a while. I just don't really care in general. So for a casual gamer here who sorta picks up releases a little while after people have said they're good... 360 can work. However, there's a bunch of exclusives (supposedly) coming out for the PS3 that are intriguing me. I might want to take a swipe at one for the holidays.

But personally for me, all consoles end up collecting dust anyways...

But ONE good vote of the wii. I liked the controls for RE4 on the wii than gamecube. I'll assume that when RE5 is ported onto the wii, I'll enjoy the controls better there as well.

RE5 Wii?  I prefer games that don't look like bleeding rectal cancer.
