No problem Lucerinred.

Seriously though, I'm still waiting on a good "shit your pants" horror game.

Condemned... sorta dark. Condemned 2? Ok, go fuck a wall. You're more afraid of splinters than you are of enemies in that game.

Silent hill? COME ON! I want scary! Not retarded emo potatoes!

RE5 was a fun game. Not scary at all. More like a thriller. RE4 easily trumps RE5. RE5 had one of the shittiest storylines I've ever hoped for in a horror story.

Only one I can think of is Eternal Darkness for the Gamecube... and even that was more of a mind f*ck game.

Agreed. Wii or PS3 or whoever need to capitalize on the PS2 era of many scary games. STOP TRYING TO CHASE FPS FFS! Siren was damn scary and god damn annoying too due to the controls. Fix the controls up, bring it back as a "horror anthology remake", up the graphics a little and then sell for like 30-40 bucks. I'd buy that shit even if like 5 of them came out. (Maybe have 2-3 on the same sale disc might be nice too) avoiding shit is more terrifying than actually fighting. It "goes against your instincts".

I see fanboyism and no constructive content.

Both solves the problem.   ;)

[ BTW - I think we can all just forget Wii.   If Fisher-Price is your kind of thing, Wii is for you.   Anything else - PS3 or 360.  ]    ( Put a link in there ... don't know if Fisher-Price is a US-only thing or not ;) )

[ Main prob with the wii, imo, is they babied up the games too much.   Whatever happened to the "Nintendo seal of quality"?   They need better standards.   But - Deadspace on wii is a perfect example of the capabilities of the system.   From what I hear, it's a Wii game that doesn't fail hard.   Plus that whole hardware thing, being crippled against the other modern competitors.   Wii is a PS2 gen system.   Nintendo - they need to step into today if they expect to have another SNES/SFC.   Cutting the things guts out is not the solution.   At this point, I think their home console business is kinda shot ... gamecube/dreamcast style. ]

Deadspace.  Love it.

Bioshock not as scary, but damn f-ing good.

BTW - on the VS issue - IF PS3 gets its act together with the online thing, such as centralized registration, better standards for server quality - the online will be on-par.   Without an upgraded Blu-Ray drive, PS3 will be forever crippled.   Sony needs to break the mold that Nintendo has so shamelessly done many times in the past - with their handhelds - Create a new version PS3 with a modern generation bluray drive.

1st generation shit, like the blu-ray drive used in PS3 - is always slow, buggy, laggy, shit, garbage, trash.  This is a given.   ( This is also why I never buy 1st generation release bleeding edge PC hardware.  It *ALWAYS* sucks.   I'm not going to be a public paying beta tester. )    That's also why 360 has an advantage in the loading department - they have a very fast - late-generation dvd drive on the inside.   The tech was developed when DVD was well-established.

They need to step into the real computing world - allow an upgraded version, or a method of upgrading the drive vs using old shit forever.

The problem with doing this is you often divide your install basis, which as sega taught us, is one of the worst things you can do in consoles. The future of consoles in fact the lack of one. Services like OnLive are going to be the future of gaming, where you buy a terminal instead of a console, and you never have to upgrade again, just pay for service.
