Depends. If you've got the cash, I'd say get the $399.99 Modern Warfare 2 bundle. It's definitely the best bang for your buck (two wireless controllers, 250GB HDD, MW2 included). If you aren't keen on spending that much, get the $299.99 Winter Bundle, which comes with a 120GB HDD and two free games. Or if you want to save another $50, get the Pro (60GB) for $249.99. I would never recommend the Arcade, but if you really can't afford anything more, you can pick it up for $199.99.

Yup my biggest recommendation would be the Modern Warfare 2 bundle because its 1extra controller, 250GB HDD is pretty expensive, MW2 is awesome(lol), and look better than looking at a white console for pretty much ever. An extra controller is around $49.99, 120GB HDD brand new is around $149.99 so think about what a 250GB HDD would go for, and MW2 is $59.99. So add that up with the Arcade bundle(each is the cheapest bundle $199.99) and you are looking at $460.00 and not even have a 250GB HDD when you can by the MW2 bundle for cheaper and get 130GB more on the HDD.

That's how I see it lol. If I didn't own a 360 myself already I would of for sure attacked that deal.

Get both, ive got a PS3 Slim and a Xbox Elite. Ive prolly used the Xbox more up to this point...so i guess ive liked xbox exlusive games better then ps3 exclusives up to now...

I think PS3 for single player and Xbox for online playing.

Hmm, I own both, but I tend to use my PS3 way more than my 360. So if I had to recommend one it would definitely be the PS3.
Also you mentioned you were a RPG fan. Well the PS3 has the better RPGs for sure. It's region free so you can import all those Japan exclusive rpg games too.

Swap your discs, watch the RRoD, and thanks to your shit console the PS3's have been toned down to "meet requirements".

But, it's not getting Versus. 

Just get a PS3. MW2 is coming on the PS3, too. You don't need to pay the extra cash to play online either.

Saying that any games that come out for the pc and consoles i refuse to play on consoles as they are dumbed down versions of the games, par a few games that where designed for console only Gta, FF ect.

I would consider Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssey to be Japanese. Considering the fact that they are. Microsoft did a stellar job prying away that deathlock on Japanese RPG developers that Sony had.

I would never buy a 360 for the RPGs. Although Microsoft has gotten better this generation with the genre (compared to zero good RPGs last gen. I never played Fable, but i heard it wasn't that great). I'd still rather have my FFXIII on one disc along with Versus and Valkyria Chronicles. I really hope I'll be able to get a PS3 by March. I don't want to go back to the PSX days when i had to switch disks for my Final Fantasies. =/

Honestly the only reason i got a 360 in the first place way back when was because there was no way i was going to pay $600 for the PS3. I'd rather wait a few years for the price to come down than be Sony's willing guinea pig for their new tech. Sorry, but as cool as blu ray is i don't like having their bleeding new technology being forced down my throat and paying gobs more money for it, no matter how shiny it is. If the PS3's price was comparable to the 360 i probably would have gotten it. I don't give a crap what reasoning they had behind setting that kind of silly pricing. If the technology wasn't cheap enough for them to produce it at a reasonable price (they were losing money on every console they sold? give me a break) than maybe they should have done something else. Even if it was 100 dollars more it would have been worth it since RPGs (along with RTS/turn based strategy games, <3!!!) are my bread and butter when it comes to genres.  

I say get a PS3, just my personal opinion. Consider the fact that i absolutely hate Sony and yet in the same breath will recommend every PlayStation console over the competition.
