why does anyone care so much that it's an AMD processor. It's not like they're pieces of shit or anything. Just not currently as good as the alternative.

For the record, I just got a new laptop for $300, and it has a single core Celeron. It handles 720 video just fine, so I think the Turion will do just fine. $150 is a heck of a deal. I'm assuming that it's used...
its new. It was in the back room where I work for about 3 months and the battery was missing. So I got it so cheap because of that. Later that week I cleaned out my back cage with all the laptops and found the battery on the floor..so I took it
