Did you ever lose your ... mouse pointer?!
« on: November 11, 2009, 11:18:44 AM »
So it happened again ... This time, it only lasted like 10 seconds. The longest time I've ever looked on screen as I wiggled my mouse to see where it's at was about 8 minutes or so. I'm not kidding.  :D I couldn't find the pointer to my mouse at all!

Or activate mouse trails... (if you don't see the mouse with those you should think about glasses ;) )

revision3.com kills my mouse pointer all the time. I always have to race the page to see if I can start download an episode of a show before it loads the starts auto playing the latest episode and eats my pointer. Their website sucks so bad.

my mouse likes to randomly shoot off into any direction extremely fast.

Usually after that I lose it for a bit.  It's pretty funny when I'm playing an FPS cause my guy spins in a billion circles and looks straight up/down ^_^

I believe that's a cue for you to invest in a new mouse.

The longest I lost my mouse pointer is in the surely withing the 15 second mark. Any longer and I will assume my PC crashed. (I would however use keyboard to confirm crashed status 8))

Or adjust your sensitivity settings.  Thank you, Logitech, for putting those directly in the mouse.

Oh, but the MX Revolution free-scroll wheel is so good though. I never realise how completely addicted I am to it until I'm using another mouse :x

"Keep rolling, dammit! Why won't you free-scroll to the top of the page? Damn wheel!"

Now gyration air mice. Those are freaking awesome. Especially if you are like me and your monitor is an 85 inch projection on a wall.

oh my god your crazy x.x

the mice i went through all got killed. the last one i had was good enough till it started breaking down on me (had to unplug and re-plug it back in the usb). until i went with G5.

G5's are awesome. you can control the sensitivity, add weight to make it heavier and do a lot of other cool stuff to it. what more, the wire is long, super thick (very hard to rip) and its for gaming and to use it for graphics like photoshop.

Wireless mouses fucking suck for gaming.  Replacing batteries is annoying.  They rattle like a toddler's toy.

I'm with Tatsujin - G5 forever!  Seriously, the damn thing is built so well that I think a future interface change is the most likely reason why I'd stop using it.
