An announcement

I hope this isn't in violation of the advertising rules, but I feel it is more of an announcement than explicit advertising.  If I am wrong, I won't challenge it being locked (even if I thought I could).  I don't want to make trouble.

I have a book out on the web that I just published through Blurb.com.  It is titled "Landmarks with Light" and is a pictorial journey of lighthouses on the East Coast, from the Ponce de Leon Inlet Lighthouse near Daytona, FL, to the Portland Head Lighthouse on Cape Elizabeth, ME, and 26 other towers in between.  If you're in to lighthouses, this might be worth a look:

There are some nice lighthouses where I live. I've visited quite a few of them from vacations with my family. I kinda wish the preview for the ToC page was actually readable. >.>

There aren't too many near me but I have seen nice ones in my travels around. Always wondered how well one of those bulbs would work in my room....

Adobe Flash Player should allow you to zoom in.  My preview copy (which I just got today) looks pretty legible, but I might have to enlarge the type overall.

Kureshii, I scoured the Wiki before posting and thought this was a grey area.  I put it in the lounge because it's more casual than General Discussion.  Again, I would have taken the post down if Psyren or another mod had a problem with it.

Is it fun to live in a lighthouse? I never been to one, I only seen a lighthouse in the Atlantic coast from afar. I suppose that at least going there for let's say... vacation? would be fun. Seeing all the ocean from the top of it with your boy/girlfriend seems very romantic to me. Imagine the sunset, the wind up there, the endless ocean... and then the night, getting closer to the person you love, hugging and watching the stars...

I want to go to a lighthouse. Anyone wants to come?

Lighthouses are cool,I would love to have one near my home.
And congrats for your book,it s very hard to pull something like that.You should be proud of yourself.

The $60 is for the image wrap.  I'd recommend either the soft-cover or hard cover with the dust jacket.  I can't imagine what the image wrap looks like or why they put that on there.
