Windows Experience - bring it on!
« on: November 16, 2009, 01:14:58 PM »
Let's have some fun comparing our different Windows Experience ratings. The bigger ratings, the bigger e-peen. I finally have a laptop that can stand the challenge, although I'll probably be crushed by those with big stationary computers.

EDIT: I re-did mine since it couldn't be read unless you loaded the picture manually.

Note that the ratings might not be 100% correct and things might affect the ratings.

That's what I thought too! Made me feel a bit better after Psyren and Duki's.

I wonder what'll make the HDD give 7,0. Speed? I don't think it cares about capacity. Both mine, Psyren and South's is at 5,9.

SSD drives will most likely get a 7+.

I beat you at loosing:

(that's my little 11" notebook)

imo the numbers are just silly - i doubt anybody could explain me how a graphic card can be worse at idling with aero than gaming.

I'm at a 5.9 with my 10k RPM drive, but I'm capped at 5.9, it's possible it would score higher on Win7. I'll be moving to Win 7 as soon as I can confirm there's working drivers for my RAID card.

Is that the one you use to make your descriptions? I always figured you had this awesome laptop with big screen.

Silly, but fun to compare nonetheless. ;)

I think I need to buy another GTX295 to beat Psyren's GFX score :D

Anyhow, I'd try one of the work PCs with SSD drives, but the SSD drive died already.

HA HA HA!!!  :D

I guess i'll be a cool kid and post my laptop's e-peen size!  8)

What i don't get is why my gaming graphics are 1.3 points higher...  ??? How do you score higher for gaming graphics than you do for running Aero!?

Maybe you need a little higher ratings with some of the other ones for Aero to get a better one? Aero also uses the CPU and RAM too.

Doesn't seem to be that way based on other people's ratings. My CPU and ram are also pretty decent. /shrug

The bigger ratings, the bigger e-peen.

I guess I have the smallest e-peen.

I like how not detected still merits a 1.0.

Curious what video you do have running there that it can't seem to find.
