I need a (CHEAP) Laptop 15'4 prefferabily 720p/1080p screen.
Support for 6GB of RAM, (QUAD) 2.0ghz+ proc. base ram can be shit, idc ill swap the chips.
doesnt need hdd (size of hdd doesnt matter) reliable brand....

Anyone can possibly link me?

Did you wanna go with Core 2 Duo? Duos are extremely good, too. Specifically from 2.4-3.0+Ghz.

This looks like the cheapest 1080p laptop on Newegg. There are no Quad Core's that do 1080p in their inventory based on search results either.

C2D is really good though. Why do you need 1080p? 1080p content looks pretty damn good on my 5:4 Samsung at 1280x1024. No problems playing it smoothly, although seeking can take a second or two.

If you're planning on something portable for TV-out just get a WDTV Live and external HDD. Its really a good piece of hardware.

Here's a good one, and it's cheap. It supports 6GB RAM as well. I'll look into another website in couple of minutes and see if there are any cheap quads. I still say Duos are far better for price ranges. Quads, right now, are too much. Plus, you know ... o.o

An AMG Merc, V16 engine, 3 fuel tanks and armour plating, please. Some autocannons on the front would be awesome, too.

All DDR is 64 bits - it's the interface width, dual channel is 128 bits, triple channel is 192 bits. It has nothing to do with your operating system. The number of cores on a single package processor have nothing to do with how many DIMMs can be used or what the memory performance will be like. That is entirely dependent on the memory controller.

A quad core processor in a laptop is fucking stupid. You've already had one DTR self destruct from overheating; looking for one which is even more likely to do the same makes no sense at all.

Get a bloody Panasonic CF-29. They go for about $350 and are nearly indestructible.

Few games support quad core at the moment, and for those that don't often a highly clocked duo is faster than a quad.

But that's for gaming, and gaming is for 'tards.

Also, don't listen to Tatsujin for hardware advice.

Don't bother getting a quad in a laptop. Get a duo, or wait until i5 or something has become mobile.
