I second that :D An AMG Merc, V16 engine, 3 fuel tanks and armour plating, please. Some autocannons on the front would be awesome, too.

All DDR is 64 bits - it's the interface width, dual channel is 128 bits, triple channel is 192 bits.  It has nothing to do with your operating system.  The number of cores on a single package processor have nothing to do with how many DIMMs can be used or what the memory  performance will be like.  That is entirely dependent on the memory controller.

A quad core processor in a laptop is fucking stupid.  You've already had one DTR self destruct from overheating; looking for one which is even more likely to do the same makes no sense at all.

Get a bloody Panasonic CF-29.  They go for about $350 and are nearly indestructible.

It's not going to fit 4 memory chips though... make sure you don't accidentally install them in the mini-PCI slot!
