I Just Upgraded To Windows 7 And I Have A Question...
« on: November 21, 2009, 04:12:17 AM »
I installed Windows 7 Professional x64 on the partition that had Windows Vista Home Premium x64, and it preserved the following folders (and all their contents) in C:\Windows.old:
  • Perf Logs
  • Program Files
  • Program Files (x86)
  • Users
  • Windows
My question: is there any reason I would need those folders/files (except Users; I have a lot of anime, documents, homework, and work stored in there)? If not, I need to delete them, lol. They're taking up 62.2 GB :o

It's just in case you forgot to back anything up. If you don't want any of it, delete it.
