Noob, spend the extra money on a less shitty OS. 7 Home Premium sounds about the level of usefulness that XPx64 gives you BUT isn't as fail. Not to mention you get DX10 and later... 11.
You really don't need professional or ultimate for windows 7.

*cough* after installing windows xp 32 bit i have discovered the card works fine.
Time to get a new OS. Many Apologies for the rage. Also, Nvidia stimulates me in a way you cant put on tv. ;)
