I dunno about that, i use a pair of BFG GTX260's in SLI, had them about 1 year now roughly i think...i use CUDA all the time, and i watch 3/4 hours anime a day at least...there both still in top condition.

Hmm Im just being cautious because ive heard rumors of people ruining their cards (GTX 275's) because they ran Intensive (not simple anime watching) CUDA apps 24/7. In any event; cuda is nice but i think it can be improved alot more,

SLI is probably a bit overkill for just running anime, isn't it?

I've had no issues with a 4650 in my laptop. Would an nVidia chip have been better? I dunno, but I suspect other components would bottleneck the thing quicker than the video card.

Truth be told, ATI is ahead in the performance area currently as in TODAY. In a single care system, yes. My proof?

The top two places are ATI Radeon 5870 and 5850. The gap, 500/300 point difference respectively.
