I'm not uploading, though not through choosing not to.

I'll help ya out a bit. Finding files elsewhere and seeding them here is a good way to improve your ratio here. Like I said, explore the forums a bit. There's some suggestions in this thread as well.

...for example mininova!? *g*

anyway: be careful not to ride yourself to deep into a bad ratio. it IS harder to seed stuff here (but far from impossible) than it is on a completely public tracker like mininova.
keep an eye out for freeleech torrents (basically everything 1080p, artbooks, musicvideos and everything under 100mb) you can download those without taking a hit to your download, but the upload still gets counted.

Xiong Chiamiov:
Uploading new torrents is always appreciated, but there are generally lots of people who want to do that (with new releases).  Dual-audios and old animes suffer a bit, as do mangas and soundtracks.

I believe that you meant that you have an upload capacity of 200 kB/s (bytes, not bits), which is significantly more than most of the people here.  You can always put that to use downloading and offering things that are requested in the New Torrent Request forum and are easily obtainable (often by irc - E-D's releases are a good example).  In fact, if you want something to do right now, you could help someone who hasn't gotten around to getting a particular E-D release, yet.

Adoptions are always appreciated, and don't require you to have any specific upload rate.

Finding unadoptable torrents that don't meet our current guidelines, and then reporting them, is a lesser, but also appreciated, task.  Extra points if you can contribute to fixing them a bit ("Hey, this torrent needs the keyword foo.").  Improperly-tagged music is a particular sore point for me, so finding and reporting those (and posting proper tracklists if you can) will gain you much favor with me.

he has to become a power user (requirements: upload at least 25gb, have a ratio of 0.5) first to offer a torrent though.

Well, yes.  But considering that he's been able to up 313 megs from only 4 torrents in 11 hours, it shouldn't take too long.
