Do you ever think you'll outgrow anime?
Scudworth:
lol, that question terrifies me even more.
I'm watching Welcome to the NHK right now and some parts are hitting me a little to close to home, at least on the emotional level if not the physical happenings.

Hopefully I'll get past the 'addicted' stage soon (4 weeks and counting, over 95gig d/l'd from various places) and scale back to being a 'normal' anime viewer, although I have yet to figure out what normal is for an anime watcher.
I can't see myself not continuing to watch anime for a very long time, if ever, the entertainment value is pretty high for the most part and the quality of most of it way up there, even Excel Saga (a friend told me to watch it and I did, all 26 eps!(not in one go!)) had fairly high quality.
If you want to know how old I am, check my profile, pretty sure it's there somewhere :P

Sorry but, that is about "normal" for Anime ;D
I've got a 160gb Passport I am using as a stop gap until I can spare the cash to get a good drive between 1 - 2TB.
Anyway you guys worried about being old and into this stuff shouldn't be. If you look back through time the pattern is clear that most generations will hang on to what they pick up from the time they are teens. Its completely normal, so while it may seem strange to picture a 60 year old man watching Anime and playing video games, the technology at that point in time will make our stuff look like ancient crap to the kids of the day.
It's like your grandparents that listen to Lawrence Welk and stuff. They probably started that around the same age bracket we are now. And while they may have techno-phobia and not understand Anime, we have had the privilege of growing up with it from a very early age, so we will have a much easier time keeping up with new technology, because we don't know anything else BUT technology and Anime and games.
One day your grandkid will insult you when you pull out an NES or a Wii and you'll launch into some odd lecture about how "In my day we had to open the console to change the game, and we only had wireless controllers as long as our batteries were charged!" :-*

Just occasional low cravings of anime for me
But rewatching some random episodes of my favourites quickly fixes it
kenpa007:
Nope. Never.
Humanoidz:
No. Except I do get sick of the teenager and sudden girlfriend cliche's. Then I need a break or something more adult-ish or serious.
