The Japanese Department store at the mall does sell vintage kimonos, obis and the over jacket (I dunno what it is called no it's not really a hapii coat). They are kinda pricey. They also sell yukatas & the obi for them as well.


Note: I live in Hawaii.

A Yukata is a single layer summer kimono. A "regular" kimono is a multi-layer garment.

Also Yukata are usually made of Cotton while Kimono are usually made of silk.
