That's really interesting,  because even through the Animation I kind of got that  "cotton or something thick" vibe from the way they drew them.

I think my mom had a Kimono at some point,  or at least some silk knock-off design.  That was a long time ago though.

My boyfriends mum has a load that his dad got her when he was in Japan. I've not had chance to look at them yet though
