That didn't take long, I guess we were right in not making the mega-torrent yet. ;)

2010's combined 2nd/3rd issue of Shogakukan's Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine is announcing next Wednesday that the sixth season of the Major baseball television anime series will premiere on April 3, 2010. The anime is based on Takuya Mitsuda's long-running manga about a young pitcher who aspires to follow in his father's footsteps into the major leagues.

I personally haven't seen this series, but liking Slam Dunk and Hajime No Ipoo I could be temped to start, if it's as good. I just don't know...Baseball?

....and here I was thinking S5 was a worthy ending to the series.

I don't watch this, but wasn't season 5 supposed to wrap it up? That's what I heard at least. Does anyone know if the manga stretches far beyond this? It's not really tempting for me to check out eternal ongoings, even when hidden in regular seasonal material.

The manga is still on-going. So there's gonna come more stuff, and Season 5 wasn't the end although it could seem like a good one. I sure regret that other animes couldn't do like Major is doing and also Hajime No Ippo. Make a season and then make more when more canon is available.
