Its all sunny, I went to the beach, I saw girls in bikinis, I saw topless fat guys running around.
Life is warm and fuzzy here in Asia.

How come no one has made any jokes against global warming yet? >:(
Perhaps because we're still sore about the CRU.

Probably a good thing, wouldn't want any more tax dollars spent on sending in the Army for you folks ;)

I live about 4hrs north of Toronto, and we've only had about an inch of snow, most of which started in December. We've had probably one of the best fall seasons in a long while.

I'm a little bit jealous of fohfoh; it'd be nice to do some snowboarding before x-mas...

Too fricking bad that at prime snow time for snowboarding, no one could make it to the hills... :P

Maybe I should take a pic tomorrow. It's damn daunting to drive through the street and have 6ft high snowbanks on each side. (They finally sent bulldozers and shit and cleared that shit up.)

I'm glad we don't have as much snow on the ground as fohfoh, but it's -23 right now (-32 with windchill). I plan on staying indoors as much as possible today (the daytime high is supposed to be -18).

Well we are now under a Blizzard warning.. haha,  whiny Texas bitches  :P

It started last night,  its either just blowing around or still coming down,  but we have at least a foot, maybe 1-1/2 feet on the ground right now.   The main highways are a mess,  some parts are plowed decent, others don't look any better than my neighborhood street..  I said fuck it when I got to the next town and called my boss to tell him I wasn't gonna make it in..

back to bed... meh.

I live in Massachusetts. We had our first snow of the year in October, after that it warmed up a little but we had snow again last weekend. We have the infrastructure in place to clean the roads (until they run out of money half way through January) but no one can be bothered to clean sidewalks. People will sometimes shovel and/or sand the sidewalk outside their private property (like they are supposed to), the issue is that most sidewalks are still covered in ice for most of the winter. 2 years ago, I slipped and fell on my butt twice on my way to the neighboring building to yell at my colleges student housing department for not sanding the walkways.

Some years ago (late 90's), we had a big blizzard on April 1st.

In Canada, if you get owned on someone's walk like that, you can sue them. Hell, I'm not surprised that you didn't mention that already. (Canada rarely sues people based on this unless the person was elderly or something like that). Kids don't care and adults don't either, unless they're just some asshats in it for the money.

As long as my poor little Ohio doesn't get owned by another Ice storm like a few years ago than I'm cool with the weather.

I meant that the temperature you have would seem like a tropical forest in comparison to me.

Sheesh, you all are complaining about the cold and the snow. Atleast you dont have nor'easters using you as target practice. My area has already been hit twice by a winter storm, which because it is warm around here, meant i got alot of wind, rain, and the occasional lightning strike. If it does snow here, it wont be much more than a few mm, but those few mm will shut the hampton roads area down. God people around here are idiots.

its 40F here, and the rain is on its way. Anyone wanna join me for the third nor'easter to hit the area?
